Competition Format
Virtual Round: All teams will compete in an initial case round online, with submissions due by February 6. Judges will evaluate solutions and select six finalist teams.
Final Round: The top six teams will travel to Toronto to present their refined strategies in front of a panel of judges, with winners announced on March 13.

The Canadian Case Series (CCS) 2026 is a platform for business students across Canada to tackle real-world business challenges. This year’s event will take place on March 12-13, 2026 in Toronto, ON, bringing together the brightest minds from Canada’s leading business schools to develop innovative solutions for Canadian businesses.

The 2026 theme focuses on the transformative potential of artificial intelligence for Canada’s small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). While 98% of Canadian businesses fall into this category, most lack the resources and expertise to implement AI effectively, creating a widening gap in productivity and competitiveness. CCS 2026 challenges participants to explore how accessible, ethical, and human-centred AI solutions can drive efficiency, innovation, and inclusive growth across Canada’s economy. Bridging this gap is essential to ensure that Canada’s innovation economy remains resilient and globally competitive.
